Premier series 80-2 connecting link is a ANSI Standard premium 80-2 connecting link that utilizes a spring clip or cotter pin design for fastening, if either or design is preferred please specify when ordering. 80-2 connecting links are also commonly referred to as #80-2 master links and are made for ANSI 80-2 roller chain, it is engineered to connect two ends of chain together or for making quick miscellaneous repairs. Premier Series connecting links are manufactured utilizing top-grade steel alloys, are supplied with heat-treated and shot-peened parts, and are the highest strength ANSI links we offer. A common issue with a chain is that the connecting link is considered the “weakest link”, specialty advanced engineering on this link has made it as strong as possible to prevent this issue.
